A middle school counseling position is available for a leave contract from January 12, 2026, to June 5, 2026, in Andover, MN. This role involves providing general education guidance support at a local middle school, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with academic planning, personal development, and social-emotional growth
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs
- Implementing counseling programs tailored to middle school students
- Managing caseloads effectively to provide individualized student support
- Acting as a resource for crisis intervention and referrals when necessary
